I was a guest at the official launch of the Ultimate Race Car Experience, a race car simulator centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK.
I volunteered my time on Saturday 17th of May 2014, instead of practicing with my racing team, to help promote the event in support of the Salisbury District Hospital Charity, Stars Appeal (http://www.starsappeal.org). Murray Walker, famous F1 (Formula One) TV commentator, is one of the people who have received treatment for cancer at this hospital. The Stars Appeal brings much needed equipment and services to children’s wards, cancer sufferers and more.
While I was at the launch trying out UltimateRCE’s full motion simulators, that extend the iRacing simulator experience, I was interviewed by Spire FM’s Ceri Hurford-Jones. This video captures that interview. He asked me about the Ultimate RCE Simulators, talked about karting and mentions Lewis Hamilton.
